Alireza Shamsfard is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dana Tejarat Aria Company, active in the personal care products and cellulose industries in Iran. He is also the founder and managing director of Emerald Holding in Austria.
He was born in 1976 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a Master's degree in Executive Management, and a PhD in Business Administration.
He began gaining business experience after completing high school by joining his family's business, one of the oldest companies in Iran active in the export of dried fruits and nuts. The company was registered by his father in 1959. In 2002, he established his first independent company and, in the same year, successfully obtained his commercial trading card.
His professional background also includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Dried Fruit Exporters Association.
Since the early 2000s, he has been actively involved in business associations and chambers of commerce. He has served several terms as Vice Chairman of the Iran-Sweden and Iran-Australia Chambers of Commerce.
Prior to being elected Chairman of the Board of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce, he served as Chairman of the Iran-Poland Joint Chamber of Commerce.
